Karen M. Weatherford-Zaluzec RN, WHNP-BC, DNP
Karen has practiced as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in the Western Suburbs of Chicago since 1993. She has also been employed as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Amita Hinsdale Hospital since 1979. She enjoys educating her patients about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and pregnancy.
Karen earned her Bachelor Degree in Nursing from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, her Masters Degree from Northern Illinois University and her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from University of Illinois at Chicago. She and her husband have five grown children and three grandchildren. She enjoys exercising, sewing and watching all Chicago sports teams.
